The Wizard’s Table Codex
Whispers & One-Liners
— Entry 003 —
These are not quotes. They’re remnants.
Half spell, half scar.
Some you’ll carry like prayer beads. Others like blades in your boot.
Go. Begin. Keep on beginning. Nibble on everything. Swim with the sea turtle into the moon. Lie still in a stream and breathe. Put your hands to your face and listen to what they tell you.
“Climb to the top of the highest tree and spread your wings. Take a hike. Teach yourself things.”
Learn to tell stories, the older you get, the more they’ll want your stories. Make them up. Talk to stones. Listen to God.
Learn how to die so you won’t be afraid to live.
Eat moonshine pies. Drink wild geranium tea. Run naked in the rain.
Love with all abandon. Everything that will happen, will happen. Sit close to the god of night.
Eat poems for breakfast, wear them on your forehead. Lick the mountain bare.
Measure the color of days around the fading away, the dying, the regeneration. Go with love.
Thought
You are the sky, everything else is just the weather.
Let that sink in.
