The Wizard’s Table Codex
Whispers & One-Liners
— Entry 001 —
These are not quotes. They’re remnants.
Half spell, half scar.
Some you’ll carry like prayer beads. Others like blades in your boot.
“You don’t carry fire like a torch. You carry it like a secret that’s already burned you.”
Just that. No explanation. Just the weight of it lingering in the chest like smoke.
“The ancestors aren’t gone. They’re just quieter when the room gets loud.”
And sometimes you only hear them when you’re chopping onions or standing barefoot in the garden.
“You can’t un-know a truth that rearranges your bones.”
Even if you pretend you didn’t hear it, your spine will remember.
“Some wounds aren’t meant to close. They’re portals.”
The trick is knowing when to step through and when to guard the edge.
Thought
These aren’t meant to be understood.
Just felt.
If they hit something in you—it’s not an accident.
It’s memory waking up.
